VRS had successfully supported the Civil Status, Citizenship and Notarization Department (Ministry of Justice) to propagate the processes, procedures and situations on birth registration, death registration, marriage registration, general Q&A on civil status registration, handling birth/death cases… related to the new Law on Civil Status. The consulting services were carried out from December 2022 to June 2023.
This activity is under the project named “Support Viet Nam to generate and utilize quality population and development data, which is essential to develop and monitor socio-economic development policies, strategies and plans, and to monitor the progress to achieve Sustainable Development Goals for the period 2022-2026”. The project (VNM10P04) is a cooperation project between the General Statistics Office (GSO) and United Nations Population Fund in Vietnam (UNFPA). The project was officially launched on 5/5/2022.
