About Project

ASSET project is implemented by GRET as the general coordinator, in a strong articulation with CIRAD in charge of the scientific coordination, in partnership with a consortium of 23 International/European/National Institutions and Organizations and 2 United Nations Agencies. The Asset project aims to capture the multiple dimensions of the Agroecology concept including food system ones and intends to support multilevel bottom-up advocacy and policy transformation approach (from local to ASEAN level) and promote Agroecology and food systems common position at ASEAN level.

VRS’s specialist involved in this mid-term evaluation with the following activities: (i) Work with the international team leader to understand the approach adopted by ASSET,  in particular the participatory processes for developing theories of change at several scales; (ii) Document the rationale of the project and the lessons-learnt during project implementation; (iii) Analyze the environmental and social risk management approach adopted by the project; (iv) Assess to what extend the project contributes to achieving the SDGs, especially SDGs 1, 2, 5, 8, 13, 15 and 17; (v) Contribute in preparing the Mid-term evaluation report.
